Dr. Freytag was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aspreva Pharmaceuticals until its merger with Galenica AG. Prior to Aspreva, Dr. Freytag was President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Myogen, Inc. until it was acquired by Gilead.
